Create crisp clean lines or stripes to add a bit of style to your design. To get really crisp lines start with a good base coat. You can add a coat of primer, if desired. Once the base coat is dry, cover the whole thing with painters tape. Then, use a crafts knife and a straight edge to create a stripe pattern. For the barcode effect, cut a variety of widths, or you can measure your widths to get a perfectly spaced pattern. Carefully peel back the tape strips and burnish the edges, pressing them tightly to the panels to prevent bleeding. Now, spray on another coat of white paint. That seals the edges of the stripes, creating a super crisp edge. Let that coat dry, then give the whole thing a coat of black spray paint. Let it dry and remove the remaining tape to reveal a perfect pattern. For more inspiring ideas, go to lowes.com/creative-ideas For paint and tape for this project, visit http://www.Lowes.com/Paint
